Cradle Mountain Lake
The boat shed on Cradle Mountain Lake in Tasmania on a cold winters day. I really loved this area of Tasmania and you can hike for days across the national parks without seeing another person, building or road! It really is the great outdoors! It had been snowing, which made for some wet and very cold hiking, especially when the sun began to drop. You can hike all the way around the lake, along the tops of the mountains. There is also a ledge path that pretty much cuts along the cliff face of Cradle Mountain, which is epic! I'd grade the hike medium-difficult due to the steepness and it being so cold up there in the winter! I was waist deep in snow during sections of the hike, like up near Cradle hut, on the ridges which were very hard to get through. Stunning stunning scenery though and would make a beautiful print or artwork.
